My toddler and I love crafts! I’m always so suprised how excited she get when we do a new “project”. By now, I’ve learned that the trick to a successful crafting session is to be fully prepared before we start. I have everything set up from materials to clean up wipes or plastic bags for trash ready. This helps alleviate the issue of leaving a toddler with freshly poured paint to walk away and grab paper or clean up materials! It also keeps me from losing her attention before we even get started.

She wasn’t nearly as confused as this picture suggests! |
Here what you need:
Paper
Scissors
Crayola Washable paint
Clothes Pins
Cotton Balls
Clamp the cotton ball with the clothes pin and use a different one for each color. We made an easter egg and a carrots. The leaves of the carrot were her handprint. I traced them and then cut it out while she painted. She is loving real paint these days, I’m going to need to invest in some brushes and a cute smock!
These were nap time crafts while baby brother was asleep. I haven’t been daring enough to bring him into the fold with our crafting just yet. What fun spring crafts have you done or seen?
